Currently headdesking over my laptop's inexplicable Assembly code errors. According to all sources I've checked, I'm doing everything right according to Intel syntax, yet my compiler insists that there are "too many memory references for mov". Neither the destination nor the source is a memory address you stupid compiler!!! 

Maybe I'm just missing something basic, check with my professor tomorrow.

On the bright side, did complete a three-week long GIMP assignment (which I only started last week  ), so that's a big relief.

Despite it being described as one of the worst FPSes ever, I'm finding Fire Warrior to be about as good as Half Life. Maybe better, since it actually had some background.

I wouldn't consider myself a "GIMPer"... I can hardly do anything in that program.
Anyway, the project was this: take a logo, document, brochure, etc., and redesign it according to the design principles of visual communication (that is, the layout of the document, including text and graphics, and the positions and styles of such). Improve it, in other words. GIMP was the only tool we were allowed to use, which is fine, since GIMP is one hell of a powerful tool... you just need to know how to use it. And I don't so much... Quite the learning experience for me.
