On a similar'ish note........ I'm tendering my resignation for the end of the month. The firms fine, the people are great, the works ok. But the job just doesn't fit me. Sounds weird i know. But it happens to the best of us. I'm living proof

That makes two of us. I don't like my current job. I feel so out of place there. If we are to be precise, I only have a fixed-term contract which ends at the end of the year, but I'm fairly confident they'd like to renew my contract. But no. I'm going to quit after this year. After all, it was just meant to just compensate for the summer when I had no income whatsoever.

Cool. Recommendations for a client? I'm pretty net-literate, but I don't know anything about IRC.

Oh, there are many good ones: mIRC, HydraIRC, XChat, IceChat, Orion, the Chatzilla add-on for Firefox... I'm currently using mIRC. It'll do the job, even though it nags about registering, especially after you've used it for 30 days. Unless, of course, if you happen to have money and you register it.

mIRC and XChat are pretty common on #hard-light, but Goober and Turey use ChatZilla.
