Which main theme are you talking about? The theme I hear in the intro starts in minor and goes: i VI i i° i and then off into something I haven't gotten down

I caught Uxie on Pearl too. But I am confused, as I have made Mesprit run away, and apparently you can track her progress on the Marking App, but when I go to it, it doesn't show anything that suggests where Mesprit is. Is there something else I need to do for her to show up?

EDIT: Found out how to make her appear on the map. I should start training my Zubat so he can learn Mean Look, or my Bronzor so it can learn Block. I think Zubat's faster though, and speed is what I'll need if I want to stop Mesprit from escaping. I remember when I played Gold (which I've misplaced, it's been missing for years), I never caught any of the Legendary Beasts, although I got Entei down to critical HP.
