so i went to what was supposed to be a rave right before exams start outside the library.  apparantly the DJ didn't have a permit, so there was no music. 

"BUT WAIT!" one brilliant college guy said.
"I CAN DRIVE MY TRUCK INTO THE BRICKYARD AND PLAY MUSIC FROM THERE!"

at which point, things deteriorated rapidly.  the mob followed the truck as the police forced it out, and then poured into the street stopping what little bit of traffic there was that late at night.  at this point i heard one of the cops say into his radio "the students have taken the street!" as he walked by.  that made me laugh.  half of the raleigh PD began to arrive to force everyone off the street.  from there it went on to the belltower, then some idiot screamed "CHANCELOR'S HOUSE!"  bad idea.  thank god nobody actually messed with it, but the mob started moving toward downtown.  all the while, people were doing progressively stupider things.  like try to climb the belltower.  around this point i figured it was a good time to leave.  when the "**** the police" chants started, it ceased to be a fun "rave" for stress relief before finals and became a bunch of drunken idiots causing a scene for the hell of it.  (except they weren't even drunk most of them)

In discussion with my RAO OC and RMO at some point as to whether prior injuries deny my right to fight. I'm putting myself down for a sand filled holiday next year.
 
I think my will to win should contribute greatly not to mention grades in the top fifteen percentile.

I got a certificate for being the best performance in Post-Production last year. The prize is $50, which is automatically added to my bank account through the school.

I celebrated by taking a cold tablet. No mood, really.

I took the later half of the day off, drove down to Palomar Airport, and spent several hours crawling around inside a B-17 and the world's only flying B-24. (Who says I don't know how to have fun?)

...I was also sorely tempted to drop the 425 bucks for a flight aboard one of them, but didn't.

I'm medically fit for war. Not  just war in fact but WAR. War with big dirty capital letters.  
Not only that but i'm nearly certified to teach drill as a junior NCO, so i'm wired and  raring to get my boxes ticked so I can get another service medal. Got to wait a year cos i'm TA now but RAWR! BRING IT ON.
