Looking up some HD5870 versus GTX480 reviews and stumped once more.

Would tessellation apply to an old rig making do on XP and DX9?

If not then the 5870 might be better and cheaper aside from drivers and maybe OpenGL... I still think nV winds hands down in general on those two. But damn the price, the power consumption and heat of the 480...

Or it's another long wait to the next cycle, and the hard disks are losing data day by day...

mass and energy can be exchanged, teh famous E=mc^2 equation

but i assume they were using "mass" as meaning "an amount of" (massive buildup of energy, etc) rather than literally implying energy has mass.
