Not sleeping enough is always cool. Once, I stayed up all night writing the thesis. When I was finished at 10AM, I went to doze off for a moment on the couch. At one point, I thought I was a towel hanging from a flagpole.

I passed my American literature comprehensive exam. I haven't felt so good since... I don't know when.

Yeah, I get that feeling myself. When I was taking public transport to school this morning, I felt like a towel attached to the handlebars with a wooden peg. I just kept dozing off. While standing.

And when I finally got a seat, I dozed off so heavily, I slanted sideways onto the lady sitting to my left.

finally got marks from last term
failed zz5 calculus, failed materials science.
did okay-ish in intro to programming (***** test with rather confusingly-worded questions most of the time, the actual stuff was rather easy) did better than last term on P eng. though, proud of that, I must say.  and I didn't get kicked out of eng program, Imma just gonna need another year, I think i can deal with that.
also, busted up 2 toes, losing 1/2 the nail on one.
and have been sorting old client files into a crawlspace (home office working for accounting folks) and the space is about 3ft. high, meaning its all commando-esque squirm along the 20ft to the spot for storing the boxes.
but I'm almost done that, just need to put in about 7 more.

She's cute (not as cute as me).

Also she's a computer science major with a concentration in game development.

Most of my female friends did a lot of compsci classes in high school. Only one is doing anything of the kind for college (engineering). My understanding is that they didn't care enough about the subject to put up with the harassment anymore.

first roommate in the spring reported me four times in the first month and got me moved to another building. second roommate didn't talk to me ever, which was actually really nice after what i went through with the first one.
