Anyway, to try and avoid getting depressed, I'll be skipping my Calc II lecture tomorrow.  Not doing math should help a bit.

I've had similar experiences, and it sucks, but doing nothing notable doesn't help, it does help to distract yourself as much as possible

i kind of think of it more of a big stagnant pool of rotting filth, parasite larve, and dead fish, and the rate of entropy can only be positive. it has occured to me that all the times i have gotten laid invloved running into some raging sex addict while carrying out my usual routine. i dont think i had sex with anyone ive ever actually gone out with. i certainly dont want to go somewhere i dont want to go with somone i dont know. i rather liked the cozy stay in relationship i had with britteny, or the live in **** hole that was my brothers (now ex) wife. i still have fond memories of both, the others i cant even remember half their names, or why i even wasted time on them, aside from the fact that captain winky got excited. these days i hardly even care. so long as i get a little cooch every now and then i think im better off without anyone else.

Today I have learned that bourbon is indeed the answer to everything.  Killed my sore throat instantly.

Runny/stuffy nose requires more work though.  Maybe if I snort the fiery liquid...

bourbon indeed has its good points, you can drink it all night and not be totally hung over the next day (unlike cheap $10 1.5 liter bottles of vodka). its sorta like alaskan thunder**** in that way. but alas i have to say my favorite booze is tequila. you might not be 100% the next morning, but you will have one hell of a night.

Met a really nice kid in robotics yesterday. Only, he has a muscular disease (I don't remember what), and by the time he gets to college, he'll be reduced to stephen hawking... I'm pissed now. Why does s*** like that have to happen?

im trying to write a program to transmit joystick data from the computer, to an arduino, convert the format on the mcu (with, you guessed it, another program) and transmit the data over a 315mhz transmitter module. which will be picked up on the matching receiver module, which is plugged into the rc board ive been working on for the past few weeks. the mcu on the board controls a servo and an hbridge for motor control. everything on the board works and i have tested it with my breadboard remote. however in the intrest of telepresence, i want to send a combination of trackir and joystick data to operate camera turret (mk2), and vehicle respectively.

unfortunately, i have a really weird bug. whenever i try to turn right, the motor kicks on for some as of yet unknown reason. its really got me scratching my head. theres probibly an overflow somewhere. there is also some major lag between joystick and vehicle. and the lag probibly just needs some timing tweaks. need to limit how often the computer sends the arduino packets, one every hundred ms should be sufficient. i could probibly step up the baud rate to 4800. i really wish the mcu had a second uart. it would make for some better communication. i could talk to the mcy from the computer at a much higher baud and still run the tx module at its perfered 2400/4800 baud. i have the computer coming in the rx line and the transmitter on the tx line. if i were to need telemetry, id either need to sacrifice performance and use software serial, or get an arduino mega. but for now its essentially a one way relay.

im really tired, still i push on.
