they got me up at 7 am, after only 5 hours of sleep. 3 minutes later i was in a truck headed to the point. there was a storm in the forcast so i wasnt even sure if id get to come home today. walked across the barnacle strewn rocks to the shore where the boat was being pulled off its mooring out in deeper water. still had to balence my way out on the rocks and pull myself up to the bow. i had to pass several boxes a dolly and other stuff to the people already aboard. managed to make my way to the deck and took a seat. the see did not look as bad as the forcast had said, so we head out. half way to town we hit 4 foot seas in a little aluminum skiff. not a fun ride (well maybe a little, im the guy who cheers turbulence on planes after all). we finally hit the narrows, and i safely managed to get out of the boat without getting wet.
while i was out in the woods i managed to bag a duck. i also got a free computer (assuming its not full of salt water). when i got home, i was then greeted by 2 cats, a pile of mail and packages, a half asleep mom and a smell worse than the rotting food smell at my sister's house. mom has not been bathing.
