That Marine Ecology & Ecosystems paper was horrible, 3/4 of the course wasn't covered by it.

I like the golf scene on the carrier - with the music and so those 5 seconds are the best of the movie... everything else... well - better watch Cast Away. Even Tom Hanks' sidekick is a pretty awesome character.

Agreed, it rather annoys me when people say that they pulled the "religion" aspects out of nowhere for the last two seasons. They'd clearly been building up to it all along (What did you honestly think was going on with Baltar?)

I don't have to like it, but it wasn't awful, I enjoyed it until the last episode, which was a bit lame.

If it really starts to bore you, just skip a few episodes. Otherwise continue watching, hopefully you'll enjoy the good parts.

Oh, and Homeworld 2 is sooo hard.

There are strong and weak bits, but if you've finished season two, you owe it to yourself to watch the first three of season three. Bear McCreary starts doing some really really cool music stuff in three, too...

I think you should finish the series. Just don't expect the second half to be taut and coherent like the first half. The latter half contains a few really beautiful, lyrical interjections separated by wildly uneven choppy bits or mere banality. Watch it for the moments and the music, but don't expect it all to come together.

Season 3 is where McCreary really finds his voice with the music. The soundtrack starts being a more than just a really great addition to the show, and the rendition of the Adama theme during the Exodus arc when Donut-Lee and Mustache-Adama have their scene together is just plain great, to say nothing of the way he works in the themes for the characters from the thing through to the [nonsensical climactic moment]...

Yes, I am a Bear McCreary Fanboy. If you're careful to avoid spoilers on newer entries, you should check out his blog, which has scene-by-scene score breakdowns of every episode in seasons 3 and 4...
