Drilling operations are finished, I'm back home as of Saturday evening, and I never even hve to look at a drill rig again until September, at the earliest.

Getting so close to my trip I can taste it. 25 sleeps.

I've gone back to playing Pepper's Adventures In Time. The last time I played it was eight years ago, on a PC that was natively supported by the game. Now, with DOSBox, I can play it perfectly on an OS that doesn't even come from the same bloodline as the one that the game supports.

Ain't technology great?

Finally got round to looking up the speaker layouts for my SB Audidgy 1 (The manual might still be at my parents, if not then it's lost to the whim of time) so all my speakers now work properly now

I've noticed a certain life cycle with spam email. The first time I receive a particular junk message it generally looks pretty legit. The domain looks correct and the message is well formated. For example I get a message indicating a package wasn't properly delivered by DHL from a "DHL" email account. After about a week it seems to be passed off to the third or fourth stringers and the grammar/spelling gets progressively worse and the sender show up as jo****[email protected]

In other news we had another WWI tabletop dogfight session at work today unfortunately I got pulled into a meeting before I could do anything conclusive. I was in advantageous position and had already scored some hits but at least my pilot didn't get shot down and lose my XP.
