Slowly crafting stowage for my 1/285th micro armor M4A3E8s. Basically little bits of cut out styrene and gobs of greenstuff fashioned like blankets, bags and rucksacks. Scratch building for a company is a tedious pain to be sure, but Allied armor isn't Allied armor lest its covered in crap.

My Easy 8 company is pretty much wrapped up aside from painting. I found the stock model turrets to be a little short compared to the real deal, 76mm Shermans had kinda big turrets, so I took a little wire and made rings to add to the turret bottoms giving them the extra presence to look like the business. With their enlarged turrets and loads of scratchbuilt stowage they look pretty sweet if I do say so myself. My platoon of M24 Chaffees already has some stowage molded on the miniature so I'll leave them as is. That just leaves the M36B1 Jackson platoon, which I'll probably add a few stowage items to the turret sides and maybe some stuff on the glacis. Then I can move on to assembling the softskins; some M3 Halftracks, an assortment of deuce and a halfs, and a trio of M20 armored cars. Then I can base coat the lot and get ready to go olive drab crazy.
