To answer, it's normally a LONG slog. A definite investment of time, and money. Shots don't do much alone. Start on about five+ beers (PINTS NOT BOTTLES) switch to a dark spirit like whisky or dark rum, then hit the tequila / BLACK sambucca. The only thing i wont touch is GIN. The devils water

On the other hand the RN also names ships seriously cool stuff like Iron Duke, Benbow, Warspite, Repulse...    as the USN is steadily namine their ships after less cool things like politicians.

Anywho, went to Kendo had lots of fun then we rolled over to the cinema and saw First Class which was awe-some.  Michael Fassbender played a great emotionally tortured Nazi hunter, James McAvoy did a great job as the idealist swinging Xavier, heck and I gotta give Kevin Bacon kudos for playing a sinister villain.

On the other hand the RN also names ships seriously cool stuff like Iron Duke, Benbow, Warspite, Repulse...    as the USN is steadily namine their ships after less cool things like politicians.

I, for one, would not want to serve on an aircraft carrier named for someone who became known for falling over/off of things.  Also, defending western democracy from aboard a ship named for someone who was never elected to the two highest offices he held seems ever so slightly wrong.

On topic, I checked my checking account balance today, and it was about three times what I expected it to be.  Granted, I wasn't expecting to find a lot, but I've got my expenses covered for a few months longer than I had originally estimated, even after paying my stupidly high car insurance premium.

Personally I prefer the old tradition of naming ships after other ships lost in combat, retired or even historic military events. I say bring back the Lexington , Yorktown, Wasp and others that haven't been used in a while. I hate the new tradition of naming warships after politicians.

the ones named after politicians were named BY politicians.  pretty much limitied to carriers.  the los angeles class fast attack subs are named for cities, and the virginia fast attack and ohio boomers for states.  the rest are named for a smattering of things like battles, military leaders, etc.
