I am not having a good weekend.

Transmission troubles with my car. At least I think it's the transmission; the engine appears to be in working order but power is not getting from there to the driving wheels.

Stick or Auto? If it's stick and it feels like the engine revs aren't hitting the wheels, especially on a high acceleration sequence like a on ramp, then yeah the transmission might be going out.

My knee is still stiff as a board from taking the spill off the horse last week, but I think its healing. I'm not in pain unless I turn it a specific way so I think it just took impact damage. I also picked up my augmented edition of Deus Ex, unfortunately I still need to wait to the end of Sept to get my new machine.

Auto, but manually shifting between available gears produces no change.

...also I heard the thing throw a gear or something. There was a loud slam like it wasn't changing gears properly from behind me.

Sitting next to a broken drill rig, waiting for something to do. But at least I have signal, and therefore, direct access to the sum of human knowledge. Living in the future is awesome.

Just had an impromptu Rock Band concert in my dorm lobby with a nice tv and some seriously *****in' speakers. You could apparently hear us through the whole building. It's a good night.
