I just spent an entire five hours of my life assembling a base texture pack for my game.

One hundred photoshopped-to-look-like TF2 textures later, I have to do decals now.  One hundred decals.

As soon as I restore my download quota for acquiring more textures, I'll do that.

These will be easy though, because one download can account for up to eight separate decals. 

On another note, I showcased my method for making TF2-like textures on the Unity3D forums, and someone gave me the derpiest comment about it yet--"Your game will just look blurry "

on a similar note, the girl i am in sort of the same situation with and i were at a concert.  things went great, had a great time, and as it's over and we're leaving i eventually lean in and kiss her on the forehead.  she smiles, wraps her arm around me, and we both enjoy just being with each other.  happiest i've ever felt.

My gosh, the amount of times that's run through my head, brother. We should just become hermits.

woke up and my computer didnt want to work. i think it had something to do with my makeshift fan repair the other day. i figured the problem was with the potentiometer that controlled the fan speed (analog fan control, in a computer, lol), so i clipped the wires and twisted them together and put some tape on it, and this seemed to work, the fan turned at full speed. 2 days later and my rig didnt boot. i thought maybe i had inadvertently caused an electrical problem. so i disconnect the fan and booted, came back up normally. so i tested the pot in question, its range was between 120 and 10k ohms, unusual for a potentiometer. so i soldered a resister to mimic the potentiometer at its minimum value (this causes the fan to turn at full speed), applied some heat shrink, plugged it back in and rebooted. didnt work!

so exploring other avenues i plugged the drives into another controller and changed the boot order in the bios. i also left the fan unplugged because at this point i dont trust it. system boots. i assumed that maybe the drive controller is bad, and figure this will work for now. so i sugt down hook the fan back up and close the case, and i boot the rig. no boot! ****!!! now on the other end of the fan's pass through molex connector is the connector for the leds int he front panel, purely decorative hardware. on a hunch i unplug the thing. system boots! i try it again, system boots!, i change the hard drives back to the way they wore, system boots. aparently the way i hot wired my fan earlier must have caused damage in to the circuitry in the the led board. so i just left the thing disconnected, ran some diagnostics, scanned my disks, the rig snows no signs of there ever being a problem.

hopefully i will be able to build a new rig soon, not sure if i can get another year out of this one.

Computer issues. Up until about 3:30 am last night, my computer was working fine. Then it vomited all over itself and now takes half an hour to start up properly.

I put off this movie for far too long.

that movie made me fall asleep. i also consider it a mortal sin to remake a charlton heston movie. the omega man was clearly superior. ever since that remake of the planet of the apes i havent seen any of the original movies on tv. but if you are feeling really nostalgic watch the last man on planet earth. this is of course if youre too lazy to read the book. im glad theres a ****ing huge library of classic horror and scifi movies out there, because without em id have nothing to watch.

Well, got Fatal Frame 1. Had high hopes for it, but... meh. It's not half as creepy so far, the immersion factor is down a lot, and the voice acting is horrible.

Also some idiot on the programming team decided to make the right thumbstick move in first-person mode and the left thumbstick aim, which is backwards and unintuitive and made me die to a moderately-tough ghost. No way I can tell to reverse the damned thing. Just have to re-learn how to aim, I suppose...

Here's hoping this game gets better, but I suppose that's what I get for playing the second game first.

I didn't know it was originally a book. I should look into getting it.

Last man on planet earth? Maybe I'll look into that, too. Though it'll probably be the movie, I don't read all too often xP .. Not often enough, really.
