I just realized, that despite the fact that I have a shiny 22 inch widescreen LCD monitor as my primary screen, I end up doing all of my web browsing on the 19" Sony Trinitron CRT I have as a secondary screen. Even when I'm not using my 22 for anything else.

EDIT: Free Sony CRT at that. Gotta love electronics recycling drop-off sites at your hippie liberal university. I pick up desktops (and laptops sometimes) from there with Northwood/Prescott P4's and Pentium Ms all the time.

Maybe it's just the fact that 90% of web sites are still optimized for 4:3 screens. Hmm.....

Maybe you should stick your 22" in portrait mode.

Flipside has begun construction of a wooden fan/heatsink holder for his new cooler.

It is made of Cedar and encrusted with Plasticote. The wood is fastened with stainless steel wood-staples and wood glue.

Flipside works cautiously, rather dreading the outcome...

You know what sucks? When the professor that is teaching the class that is supposed to cover graph theory for subsequent CS classes only spends a week on it and considers it unimportant. Thus screwing you over for the subsequent class.

Ever since seeing The Ring (American ver) as a young lad, then watching the Japanese one a few years later, Sadako has been forever haunting the edges of my subconscious due to the fact that she uses my beloved TV as a medium to kill you. And now after seeing a crappy little drawing someone made in MS Paint  of Pedobear fishing her out of her well, that shadow on my psyche has been eradicated.
