finished the wiring job on the joystick of doom. all current features are wired in. so far its only 4 buttons a hat and 5 axes, but i will add to that as time goes on. right now its sort of usable, i got it propped up on some lego tires pending me finishing the enclosure. i connected everything and tested it (sort of, i haven't actually played any games with it yet, as its still mostly confined to my work bench) and it works well. i still need to find a way to mount the circuit boards, i probably got some standoffs somewhere i can use. i really dont want to be drilling a bunch of holes till i map out how im going to use the available control space, so i might just use zip ties and duct tape. i have connections for 3 more axes and 28 more buttons, and finding room for all of those is going to suck.
