meh, they gave me vicodin, not antibiotics. giving antibiotics is not always a good idea though. the more you take the less effective they become, so if you get a bad infection somewhere down the line, antibiotics will not be as effective, but if you wait till you absolutely need them they will stop an infection cold. sometimes i think its for the 'so you dont sue us' factor. never trust people in the medical profession. they are all corrupt bastards who are more concerned about avoiding lawsuits than healing people.

because humans are whiny *****es who think that every little thing that causes pain will kill them. they will throw money at ineffectual treatments and pointless tests just because a doctor tells them its for their own good, without even considering what their other motives may be. healthcare is a very corrupt industry, they want your money, they dont want to help you at all.

I do agree that antibiotics aren't always a good idea, but when it comes to open wounds in your mouth (four large ones to be precise), and the nature of what you put in your mouth... I think this is considered a good idea
