GOOD tequila is always good. Bad (cheap) tequila is vile. As in, vile enough that it feels like it burns a canal directly from stomach to rectum, avoiding niceties like the small intestine, colon, and the digestive tract in general. It goes without saying that something that is bad isn't always good, while something good is always good

That being said, I've never had a tequila that was so vile. Never had a drink that was so vile actually...

As for three shots taking someone down... well... this should be backed up by thorough testing

Was surprised by colleagues by a "pre-leaving for war" party.

Turned a thirty two year old lesbian catering manager. On my sticky bus ride home from her gaff as her girlfriend was away at a conference. O wasn't allowed to stay the night, I am however guaranteed a dirty bonk at work next week to augment tonights fun.

I'll stick to my "cheap" vodka & rum. $15-20 for 750mL of Absolut or Svedka or Bacardi Superior. We can stomach it without becoming ill. And if 3 shots puts you on your ass, you need to (1) eat more & (2) drink more. When I weighed 130 lbs, it took 8-10 drinks to do me bad (depending on the booze).

Anyways, I'm going to an airsoft game this weekend. Leaving at 5AM. Now's probably a good time to pack & go to bed.

i wasn't aware absolut or bacardi were considered cheap. i've never met the vodka i didn't like, and the only tequila was one that was salted. i don't know how the hell that started, but salt with the tequila was ****ing nasty. and i'm not biting any fruit after either.

Popov: $10 for 1.75L
Svedka: $14 for 750mL
Absolut: $18 for 750mL
Bacardi Superior: $20 for 750mL

Prices based upon my last memory. There's plenty of really cheap stuff, but I consider anything below about $25 for 750mL (80 proof) to be "cheap". Basically because I wouldn't go much lower than Svedka no matter the drink.

Managed to compile a couple of wxWidgets libraries on MSVC++ 2008 Express, as well as compile a sample code for testing... after a couple of hours finagling with the build settings and moping about failed batch builds.

Also started taking notes on MSVC's documentation. Hopefully with me taking notes this time around I'll remember something useful.

Review time:
Red Label Johnny Walkers

It's the low end of the Johnny Walker's line, but that isn't to say it tastes like ****. For two twenties, you can have yourself a 750mL bottle of the better scotches out there. What makes it an excellent price to flavour purchase? Just by itself, it goes down smooth, with a slight burn that feels good rather than eating through your throat sensation. Mixed, it goes quite well with Canada Dry Ginger Ale giving you that sweet flavour while not completely dominating the scotch itself. Haven't tried it with coke, but I'd imagine it to be far too strong (the coke) leaving you with a hint of the flavour.

Personally, having it neat on the rocks is the better choice here. Scotch wasn't meant to be mixed, it was meant to be had by itself. It isn't something to inhaled, but enjoyed.

If you have a cigar, smoke it on a patio for bonus points
