I've been sick with a viral infection this entire week, so I missed New Year's celebrations and now my birthday. However, I just watched the most entertaining tennis match I have ever seen, and laughed more than I have this entire week. I never knew tennis could contain so much comedy. Mixed doubles, Serbia vs Germany at the Hopman Cup. Entertainment courtesy of Novak Djokovic.

it's pretty much how i operate.  not really intentional since leaving uni though, i've just never really been able to get back into a normal cycle.  it's great if you don't have to meet a normal daily schedule like going to work for 8 hours.  i used a very light version through most of college, 4-6 hours at night and a nap of varying length depending on schedule/whenever i woke up in the middle of the day to afternoon.  semesters when i had piss easy course loads i would drop to 3-4 hours at night and either multiple or longer naps during the day.  basically whenever i felt tired and had enough time to sleep for a bit.  it was nice to sleep whenever the hell i felt like it, but the few occasions where i got tired but couldn't sleep yet were kinda bad.
I like to stare at the sun.

After a discussion on facebook with one of my friends, I have had the fact that my hairstyle is incredibly similar to that of the anime character Mitarashi Anko from Naruto (or the back part is at least).

Progress on my FPS engine is stagnating!

Also I've been getting up at 11am for the past week! But recently not doing such a good job, actually, because I just get up, turn the alarm off, and go back to sleep.

no just a side effect of living right on the ring of fire. this is the second relatively large quake in this area in the past several months. this one had the whole town spooked with a tsunami warning. everyone was driving inland. except me, dispite living two blocks from the water, if i was going to die i would definitely want to be there.

Just finished Dishonoured with the low chaos ending. The pictures Emily draws of Corvo through the game, and final scene of the ending got the feels going quite a bit for a FPS-Sneaky-Teleporty game.
