Hm, now that you mention it, that sounds right, so I dunno.

I'm pretty sure the main reason libraries generally prohibit eating/drinking in the library is to avoid attracting insects, so it seems strange that they're actively promoting it. Maybe they're just using lots of insecticide?

Just applied for internships at Northrop Grumman. Probably my last hope for real internships in the summer this year, if I don't get it I'll be writing data processing software for SHRG again. (which I would not mind one bit, to be honest)

This year I'm gonna do February Album Writing Month, which is sort of a songwriting version of NaNoWriMo. I'll probably crank out a lot of crap lyrics, but hopefully there will be some good tunes in there too.

I also learned that Bacardi 151 has a rather sweet flavour to it. It's quite nice

I agree. The more I thought about it after I saw it, the more I ended up just loving it. I'm also glad all the conservatives got their jimmies rustled by it. You know you're doing the time period justice when guys are trying to do you for 'anti-white racism'.

I knew about eating Asian Carps and tried to Google for eating invasive fish recipes, but I didn't know there was a whole movement/organization/site dedicated to this.

pleasantly surprised with my cheap chinese knockoff laptop battery. it works, fits well, and the laptop is not throwing any angry messages about non-genuine parts. also didn't take a month to get here, arrived one day after the flash drive i ordered at the same time that didn't come from overseas.

and now that i know to take the battery out when using AC power for a decent length of time, this one should last a while. probably longer than the laptop itself being almost 7 years old.

On that note, I'm expecting something from hong kong. A USB OTG lead, a usb mini male to usb micro male connector. Effectively allowing me to plug my PS3 controller into my Android phone in order to play the SHIZZLE out of my snes emulator!!

Although when i returned home yesterday, something my girlfriend ordered from EBay lay strewn accross the floor with two VERY guilty looking collie dogs.

I fear my purchase may end up as collie ppop.

On a seperate note, this random adventure toolkit is bloody amazing.

I'm down to the last four months and one week of my conscription period. I just taught some fresh meat how to draw out and return keys today. My boss expects me to tell other people to do work more often than me doing the work in the months ahead.
