I got bored and figured out how to listen to Weather satellites.
Here's my £30 setup

So much this.  It is going to be a ridiculous cheesy smashfest as giant robots take on giant space aliens from the bottom of the Pacific rim, and yet ridiculously awesome for that very reason.

I'm surprised you haven't put the PS1 away then, since the PS2 plays the games just fine. Although using the PS1 for PS1 games may well extend the life of your PS2, so I suppose it's smart.

My PS3 sits atop my PS2. My PS1 broke, the only console I've lost, which prompted the upgrade to PS2.

Went for a hike this morning at 2am.  Got out in the wilderness aways and heard movement.  Not wind.  Pulled out my phone and turned on the light and saw five or six pairs of eyes
staring
straight
at me.

Later realized they were probably just cattle (from height, low reflectivity, and the fact that there were hoof prints all over...), but still freaked me out at the time, especially since I know coyotes and mountain lions are common around here.

Yeah. I held off buying until there was a cheap all-DLC.

I want to buy this, but my games backlog is already massive.  Maybe I'll wait until Christmas.
