Rest of the family on vacation, me staying behind (at my own request), means I get to take care of all the pets.

Not so bad, except my sister's dog won't leave me the **** alone. No matter where I go, she follows. She's even taken to sneaking into my bedroom at night (where she knows she is not allowed) because she doesn't want to be alone.

It is really annoying. I don't mind dogs most of the time, but I want my space, dammit!

Saw Man of Steel today, I thought it was pretty good. The two friends I went with hated it though, mainly because they're fans of the comics and apparently the movie does NOT stay true to the comics.

Seriously, that's a ****ty reason to dislike a movie. Ever think they never wanted to stay true to the comics? That it was by intention to not follow it to the letter?

Well it seems that I will be spending next week in Manchester, courtesy of my new employers. It's not so bad until i remember that I have no laptop and my phone is a piece of ****, thus leaving me with minimal internet access and no form of entertainment during the week.

Ever drool profusely onto your pillow, wake up, realize there's a pool of drool and have your beard just covered in drool from it having pooled on your pillow then having to wipe it off while asleep with your pillow and then realizing you probably just made things worse and now your beard feels really strange with more drool just wiped everywhere on your face?

Just saw Pacific Rim.

It is quite definitely the best film of its kind. If you have any interest whatsoever in Mecha, Kaiju, or Ron Perlman, you need to see this movie.

I really want to go see it again, which is...honestly I think the last movie I saw twice in the theater was Dredd, and the one before that was probably freaking Gettysburg, back in the early '90s.

I received a promotion at work today and am now officially working full time. Though I will probably have to go back to working part time in a few weeks, since I'll be going to school in the mornings. I don't really like working mornings anyway, but it's more money.
