well, i work 7.5 hours a day as a 1st line fixing computers, I just spent 15 mins on teamviewer bashing add-ware on a friends computer
Does a large part of your day consist in turning the computers on and off again?
I got a mate who works in I.T. and he said that literally is most of his day.
lol, we do fix some that way, along with
"Can you check cable X for me"
"Is the light on?"
"well you should be logging in with xyz" (im on a corporate account)
"delete your internet history and relaunch the browser" (the number of website errors this fixes is crazy),
"Try again in 30 minutes"
"Click start-> all programs-> .... and it should be there"
"Yes that is a Blue screen of death location support will be with you as soon as they are able"
with the occasional
"Your X is smoking, Turn it off please and location support will be with you as soon as they are able"
