Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Because this post is a joke. Thunder, you have to admit, 1000000 votes is kinda cheap...

It wasn't supposed to be realistic - it was me having a little fun with MDs poll, threads of that nature are clearly asking for anyone and everyone to do (more or less) what they please - and I did just that ;7

Look on the bright side, you could've caught me on a bad day - which would've resulted on the thread being locked and MD cautioned along with far firmer administration of the forums on my part.

I do have a (somewhat twisted) sense of humor :)

More like you felt the needs to use your admin powers because you haven't locked any threads in a while. ;)

That was pretty low, Thunder, but yet it was...somehow funny

Who started the thread? not me - blame some other poor fool for bringing such things upon this place, I merely reacted with the tools at my disposal (and at that, the big guns are still on the rack :drevil: )

It's not my fault people post so much about me - hell I wasn't even here when all this happened, so I've got nothing to do with it!

That reminds me, were the language filters ever turned on? :p
Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman

There ya go....punish everyone for the acts of one individual.  Everyone!  Heil Thunder!  While you're at it, could you change the name of this place to Hard Light Gestapo?  You might as well since you act like a freakin nazi.  The second anyone tries to lighten up the atmosphere a little, you slap your little hammer down on the thread and bam!  Discussion over, and its labeled as spam.  Even your avatar has someone doing a nazi salute.  Is this the only life you have?  I swear, you need to lighten up a little.  Even when I started out as a mod @ SB, I wasn't near as bad as you.  I'll be the first one to tell you that I was a little overbearing at first, but as folks will tell you I mellowed out quite a bit. (If you must know, I modded the Vs. Debates forum....and that was a HELL of alot more stressful than all the forums here put together.  Back then half the time people were at eachother's throats over some stupid calculation or whatever.)

This rant has nothing to do with your altering of my poll.  I actually found it funny, but there are lots of times where you take jokes the wrong way.  Your initial reply to this very thread is a very good example.

Seriously dude, you really need to lighten up alot.  Ban me for giving you a reality check if you want.  I don't care.  This isn't exactly the most important place in my life so it wouldn't be a big loss if I was.

'E didn't close it, he created a new polling option describing himself as god and gave himself a million votes. Which is why I posted what I did.

You all had your fun at my expense - I'm not allowed a light joke in return? Nice guys - great balance there.

Only if you have something about me in your signiture in the first place ;)

Oh...meh, may as well get this over with:

To MD...I don't know what your talking about to be honest - on the one hand you claim I'm being nazi like in administration, yet have I spoken to you about it and told you to stop? no. I took the joke.

The thing you quoted me on was because I didn't know what the tone of the thread was - for all I knew it was a genuine critisism and I wanted to make sure of what the thread was about before I went further. My point being this:

If he was joking (which he was) then fine, you had a joke - I had a joke - he had a joke and everyones happy, fine and life is generally good and children can sleep at night.

If he wasn't joking and people felt that my editing a forum poll on a thread like that (a joke made at me directly calling me a little unpleasent dictator - I've seen the film) was wrong then things would be very different since it would clearly have been ok for you to post the thread but not for me to have a return joke of my own.

Thus if people did feel that way I'd have had to say "fine, I'll stop the return jokes but all other jokes against me must cease". That would be the fair thing to do, not dictator like but simply making sure that balance between who can do what is maintained.

However this was not the case - it was all a joke and life goes on. Untill now - since you clearly have a problem with me (I'm assuming your not joking by the somber tone of the post - if it was a joke its a stupid one).

You attack my avatar? Dude... you read into that to much. I like Rage Against The Machines music and the avatar is an updated stand-in before the Aquila is finished and I can have that up instead. The graphics are pretty and has nothing to do with nazism, communism or any other belief structure or policy.

As for the rest of it - you manage whatever forum you have as you see fit - and I'll do my best to deal with things fairly as they come here. So far it's been ok and the only person to speak out like this seems to be you - someone who made a thread as a (joke) insult about me.

To round things up - frankly I'm a little miffed. I go out on holiday and come back expecting things to be as pleasent as I left them - but no, theres threads having jokes about me (clearly based on how you see me - since the charachter is a nazi like one, and you basically called me nazi like in my admin technique). I laugh that off - have a little fun myself and get this to put up with in return.

I dont intend to do anything more about this - I'm a little sad that you see so many things that just aren't true but hey - thats your loss not mine, just try not to do this again m'kay? I've got far better things to do that type out essays answering people who are stupid enough to think I'm nazi like in my actions.

If you'd like to talk about this further, email me - I don't see how it has anything to do with the community as a whole and nobody will benefit from furthering this publicly.
