Hey High Max, hint: prejudice is immature.
Not if you are judging someone by their actions. I guess it could be considered immature for someone to do certain things and expect everyone to be ok with it and not have to take any responsibility or ridicule for what they have done. Only if one judges someone by what they can't control would it be immature, I guess. Like a person judging someone for their disability or age is completely different than judging someone by their actions that one deserves to be judged for. Of course a person could also say that what is and isn't mature is a cultural opinion too.
Standing up for my way of thinking and beliefs and not doing what most others do is actually grow up and brave. Many people just give into peer pressure and not let others know how they feel because they can't handle loneliness and they get desperate, which is not grown up. So on the contrary.
Certain things should be judged. If they weren't, then people would get away with everything and think it is alright to do anything they want. To do things and not expect ridicule is unrealistic and means the person doesn't want to take responsibilty for whatever they are being judged about. Sometimes we must deal with being judged. I was picked on countless times in the past, judged for acne, being fat 10 years ago, and much more, and much of what I was judged about were things I couldn't control.
People judge others in society all the time. Anytime anyone gets in trouble by law, people will judge that person. Anytime there are differences, there will always be judgment. Live with it like I had to. It is life. Also, you judged Pete saying he is immature because of that silly girl who he should have never gotten involved with in the first place. She might have done certain things too and was up to no good excluding what Pete said about the situation and about her.
