Yeah wow! i liked how they referred back to the original idea of the master saving the doctors life in what would have been Roger Delgado's final appearance of the master with the 3rd doctor had he himself not sadly passed away. What happened to the master, did he go back with the time lords? My only complaint is i think they dragged the ending on abit to much. David tennant, John sim and Bernard Cribbins where pure awesome and Bernard's acting, nearly had me in tears! Just a shame we couldn't get a wee preview of the next series.

PS I think Matt Smith is going to be a brillant at the role, don't care what anyone else says.

I think the ending was pretty wonderful in retrospect.

I was a really nice way to bring everyone back for one last hurrah without making it seem quite so forced.  I also think it was great that he went back to before the Doctor met Rose.  That was sort of a neat way to do things and end things off.

On another note I'm really grateful for a series like Doctor Who.  Getting into it I found it a bit weird and off the beaten track compared to what I was used to but my father was a huge fan back in the day and I've really latched on to it.  The Doctor is the kind of character that you can't help but like... still one of those larger than life characters and something that I find we sometimes lack right now.  Someone to aspire to. Sounds a bit corny but with everything going on right now... it's a nice thing to have.

look yes the darleks are cool and everything but i am getting sick of them being rehashed, i mean went they wiped out in their entirety last time??????

its just that i am getting bored of its either the darleks or the cybermen for the series badguys, can we please have a new one.  for example going back a few series when rose met cpt jack he mentioned a time agency, can we have some of them going rogue, heck i wouldn't mind seeing more of the santarens (apologies for spelling)  just please can we have something new.

thats kind of what i am getting at, in the last few series the only group non human that has been developed at all is the ood what some of the other groups out there

Having been away from the watery island for the past 2 weeks I haven't been able to catch the last two Doctor Who's. When I get back later today I hope to be able to see them one iPlayer or something, but I'm not sure if they'll still be there.
