Just thought of something; this a good example of Goebbels' law in action. The Palestinian leaders can say just about anything to the uneducated masses, and after it has been repeated to them hundreds of times, they will believe it. In this case it goes something like "sacrifice your life in killing jews and allah will reward you," and despite its absurdity, people will believe it because they have been converted to believing that no other idea can exist.

I think this will be the last of the major religious wars, though. Religion is slowly dissipating out of the world and should be a dead force in maybe another thousand years at the most, which will put an end to this stuff once and for all. However, politically-centered wars will probably live on for a bit longer than that; someone once said that "war is an integral part of human nature and civilization" (can't remember who) due to the diversity in ideologies. (a good thing, but it has side effects)
