Just pulled from the model file, the Gigas is 20.6 km long. Gargant is supposedly around 40.
...Hold on, I might be able to put together something. With the Gigas, anyways.

I only watched the movie, though I heard there was a book of it out. I think the book is very old, if my memory of what I heard is accurate. Though I think it was funny in the movie when that goofy guy with that strange hat thingy got slapped in the face by this fly swatter creature in the sand and the way him and that darker guy reacted, and I laughed my head off in 2006 when I saw that scene many times. The darker guy was like 'ooooh' :D
The book was written well before the movie, and is vastly superior to the movie, though I still rather liked the movie.  There was actually a whole series of Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy books, but they only made a movie out of the first (which is, coincidentally, the only one I've actually read).

Ah, I don't have the model on me but I dug up a few old screenshots. I kinda wish I had used a flat texture instead of this stuff now, but it was a very crude conversion anyway.
