I should point out that the background isn't rendered - it's a photo. But I'm glad it's achieved the effect I was looking for.

Now will you share your secrets and tell how you did it? That render is so amazing...I think I'll keep that as my background for weeks.

But render is great.

Yep, it's a photo - amazing isn't it (the full 1280x1024 version is my desktop at the moment). I didn't take the photo - but found it on Kazaa. Run a search with the search field blank but the catagory selected as nature and you should find it hopefully (amongst some other amazing stuff).

Very impressive. I can see that water is a photo but sky looks like render. But then again...what do I know? :D

I'd put it the other way around. The sky looks like a photo, but water like that could be rendered. A1-SUPAR anyhow.
