Well, the best thing for the Vasudans tends to be opposition to the Emperor / monarchy.

Off the top of my head I can name these

Alpha centuri
Vasuda (of course!)
Aldebaran
Altair
Deneb (bit confusing as sirius appears to be a Terran system. Most likely it was captured during the T-V war as there is no other easy way into the system)

Vasuda Prime was destroyed, remember? You, of all people, should know that, you're on my campaign staff, are you not?:D:p
Why not just create a more original storyline while you're at it, StarGunner?:p

The planet is also still there.  It's just that the surface is uninhabitable.

I figured it would be inhabitable (if you didn't mind importing all food and drink).

Actually, the surface was probably totally irradiated.

So the Vasudans systems are: Aldebaran, Altair,Alpha centuri, and
Vasuda? I think they had more than that would the FS1 tech databace help here?

Where did we feirst meat the Vasudans? this would tell us the sysetems they have too.

As for the new Rebels I need names/abreavations, I think I seplled that right:confused:  and also the Vasudans need to have somthing to trigger this new uprisesing. A new Guverment body? or somthing?

In the first mission of FS2 they mention transporting large numbers of vasudan refugees from Deneb. I guess that means that the vasudans are in Deneb in large numbers if not the ones in outright control of the system.

Also in the Templar missions they all take place in Vasudan space so which systems were they in? and where did we first meat the Vasudans? any Ideas?

I have the Fs2 Reffrence Baible here and it said that the Betelgeuse was the site of heavy fighting in the Terran-Vasudan War.

so could we say that this is where we first met the Vasudans? and also if this is true than that system would be a good place for the rebel upriseing.

On top of that the vasudans would be dimorllized, or have suvyer reaprcushins in their economey.

I know that the big campaign map isn't really 100% accurate, but here are my guesses:

Those mentioned (Altair, Alpha Centauri, Altair, Vasuda, Deneb)

I'd guess Vega, and perhaps partial control of Beta Aquilae.  Other than that, I really don't know.  There was one campaign that had a map out public; it showed terran and Vasudan systems as seperate.  Look through the hosted sites and see if you can find that.

Yeah.  The FS1 campaign has what appears to be a contradiction with the generally accepted node map.  In one of the early missions of the FS1 campaign one of the command briefings, I believe, speaks of a Betelgeuse-Antares jump node.  On all the node maps I've seen there has been no such node connection.

I remember thinking that now when I played the FS1 campaign in FS2.  I'll double check to make sure.

FS1 got a lot of things wrong (3 nodes to Earth too remember?). FS2 is the one taken as canon.

I'd follow FS1 too. Had a better plot anyway....

For the case of Betelgeuse, it needs more than one node if FS1 is to be considered valid.  I remember there being some missions in Betelgeuse, and it wouldn't make sense that it was a contested system unless if it is as isolated as it is currently shown.  I mean, how could two competing factions get ships through both the single node to Beta Cygni and the single node to Betelgeuse without engaging each other before reaching the destination system.  Contested systems must have at least one access point from a secure system of each faction, and Betelgeuse does not.  Maybe a long node that collapsed between FS1 and FS2, but it would have had to be there.
