It'll come in form of a council mission which can happen anytime from just starting, to later on

There is a nonzero possibility that by delaying I have broken it since I needed to run an abduction. I hope not, but it's possible.

I did similarly encounter that. The council talked to me about the mission start but I declined it
Now it has yet to come back, so I've no idea what to make of it

So I've confirmed it's broken, and also, I've decided to abandon this LP formally because I'm just burnt out on X-COM for the moment.

We will revisit the LP series when Enemy Within drops.

If you're not having fun with an LP, it's really best to just move on. No complaints at all here- I totally know that feeling.

Genetic enhancements, badass cyborg troopers, all that good stuff. HLPX-COM will really stick it to those ETs come November, right!?

Well, it's either that, the UMF from Falcon Gold, the plane from Stealth, or the AI-based fighter from Macross Plus.

EDIT: I suppose there's also the plane from Day of the Cheetah, but I can't remember the thing's name.
