It turns out that a good capship command mission starring an Orion is, in fact, a ton of fun. Keep your eyes on Lepanto.

If you've already played The Blade Itself, One Future, and the first Battle Captains mission then you know what to expect, but an Orion's got a different playstyle.

Oh yes, definitely different style. Better return to techroom and memorize where all those turrets were placed for maximum effectiveness!

Capship missions were always cool.

I should play the battle captains mission... although I never liked The Blade Itself so much.
Can't really imagine how flying an Orion is fun besides using a ton of special abilities and commanding everyone around me cause I'm outranking everyone in a big destroyer. Dropping one in the RTS environment it always needs forever to get its beams on the target.

She's definitely not the nimblest creature, but that's part of the fun - you can't think of it as a fighter, you need to set up passes so you can keep your broadside open.

It's super, super satisfying to pick a target, hit ctrl/left mouse/trigger if you're a joystick weirdo, and impale it on your beam broadside.

I would definitely play it differently. Full speed ahead, because I have 10 thousand officers and crew willing to die for NeoTerra.
