A lot of you will notice that there's a lot more usage of swear words over the last few weeks. Initially we didn't mind because it was a rarity but it's becoming far too frequent of late and those who think we don't care about this anymore should note that HLP's stand on swearing has always remained the same; Unnessecary swearing is not looked kindly upon.

Just because we've had a few changes in staff doesn't mean we've also changed our ideals. We haven't needed to turn on filters since we started using vBB and I'd like to think we won't need to at all. Please respect those who find swearing offensive and use more polite describing words.

ya, knight, your one source of the problem here, you need to lessen up on the casual swearing and change your sig to reflect your brand new personality change.

Not saying its just you, but so far you and stealth are the only ones who i can find swearing (searching proved to be A1 supar).

Knight... I know your in that period where you hate your father and feel the need to touch yourself more frequently then normal, but dont let your emotions spill out to people who dont care. Its not like many people are offended by swearing, you hear it everyday, but the problem is, people that swear all the time like you are just irritating, and significantly lowers the quality of your character.

Seriously dude, you get off on making yourself feel bigger than other people, don't you? It's blatently obvious, i personally find you more annoying than i do myself. You can insult other people and make them feel dumb or new or unwanted, and get a bunch of people to agree too, but it kinda throughs it off when u act full of yourself.

Anyways, i don't beleive you ever thought about "my character", especially seeing as how i am "spilling my emotions to people who don't even care."

I think you all need to grow up a fair bit - stop baiting Knight and Knight, stop rising to it - it'll only get you in trouble.

And whilst swearing is always going to happen, it doesn't have to always happen in every post. Using swearing in casual conversation is wrong on a place like this - there are little kids who visit this place and play FS, HLP is hosted by 3DAP and they can't allow a forum where it degrades into random and pointless swearing at every oppertunity.

In the end you simply shouldn't need to swear constantly. Most peolpe typically lack that self restraint at least from time to time - but constant swearing is wrong, you just shouldn't do it. Stop.

I think I've seen swearing increase... though I don't care about it. Well, maybe a little, if every posts have it then it starts to look stupid, though I haven't seen that at HLP.
 
I think it's much more annoying to type stuff like U R = you are, etc.
