I used to be a TMNT fan back in the late 1990s, but I've forgotten, aside from comics and the Saban Entertainment TV show, Ninja Turtles Next Mutation.

In this sequel to the 2014 film, however, franchise characters Bebop and Rocksteady will make their first appearance. Megan Fox and Will Arnett cash some paychecks to reprise their roles, while Tyler Perry of all people joins the ranks as well. Still, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik of The Big Bang Theory didn't get to join the cast as well.

Same thing, looks like everything my 8-year-old self ever wanted a movie like this. However, I'm eager to see whether Melissa Rauch and/or Mayim Bialik is onboard.

I stumbled upon a Daily Mail Online article about Megan Fox being joined by Laura Linney in its shooting, though it dated seven months ago.

In this film, Linney appears to be playing a NYC police officer/detective, but her name is unknown. Her character's name could be Jacqueline "Jackie", Adrienne, Julianne, Geraldine, or some other name I don't know yet.

There's another woman cast in the film as well. Newcomer Alessandra Ambrosio joins the cast as Vernon's girlfriend (though her name isn't revealed, sorry), along with Stephen Amell (Casey Jones) and Tyler Perry (Baxter Stockman).

And, supplanting my earlier post, I think Mayim Bialik and/or Melissa Rauch will be saved for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3.
