okay, this is stupid and all, but im curious, so there.

how many people play a musical instrument (includes singing if you ever had lessons or was _serious_ about it, and kazoo if you can be serious about that) and how well do you play?

I've been singing forever, have played alto saxophone for six years now and trumpet for five. I'm an okay sax player and my trumpet pretty much sucks.

Learning Electric Guitar and can play the Cello and a little Violin.

Can play 3 or 4 chords on accoustic guitar, but never seem to find the right way to actually learn it properly.  Used to play the recorder & keyboard (badly) as part of me compulsary music classes in Secondary school..oooh... about 6 years ago.

I know the basics on a keyboard/piano and thats about it.  Most of my music knowledge lies in samples and multi-tracking.  And on the odd occation I do like to kick my feet up and compose an entire new piece from scatch... for which a keyboard sometimes comes in handy.

But thats about it.

from time to time i borrow my sisters guitar.  I can play the intro to "come as you are" by nirvana, and a few bits of some Biffy Clyro songs.
But thats it.

Was a band nerd until the middle of my sophomore year in high school when I finally got to the point where I couldn't stand the band director anymore, still play the piano.
