To the new Human Backup of IPX Listening Station S498-B,
My name is Carla Naidu and Interplanetary Expeditions has assigned me to be your primary person of contact in any emergency situation.
However due to a scheduling conflict with the company, I will be unavailable for the first five days after you arrive at your post.
Simply put, the freelancer who the company hired to substitute for me got in trouble with members of Nightwatch. Interplanetary Expeditions has a very strict policy regarding such incidents and had to let the person go. The end result is that I am out of the office and the company has no one to fill in for me.
The Station is fully automated and according to the maintenance logs from your predecessor in very good condition. So there should be no problem until I get back.
In case there might be a problem with the system call the “SYSTEM INFO –AUTODIAG” command. It should provide you with suggestions on how to handle the situation until I am available at HQ.
When I am back in the office, I will be available using the “LRC –HQ_Carla” command. Do not worry about the explaining the situation, I can use the Tachyon Uplink right here on Earth to access the Station’s system and perform a remote diagnostic. However do mind the time difference between the Station and Tel Aviv is nine hours.
