No. COFFIN was a design necessity to get around the fact that the original PlayStation couldn't do transparency very well and had quite a limited polygon budget. In other words, they had to make up something about this enclosed Cockpit thingie to explain why their planes didn't have proper cockpits. They also used this for good effect in the original storyline, but that doesn't change the fact that they were forced to be ingenious by technological limitations.

No, the dark area in the upper part of the nose houses a 50mm cannon that is its primary armament, and it carries two 30mm cannons as well.

If you're refering to the quality of its textures, no... they're extremely basic. Despite the odds, I'd be nice to see it ingame.

May I know why the Russians are using the best planes? Also... are you planning to use the PAK FA?

No, I will not use the PAK FA. At any rate, the Russians have the only Ace Combat planes, but overall their aircraft are no better than NATO's.

The Su-93 is less powerful than its American rival the F-116 Peregrine (although the upgraded Su-95 is about even):



The Su-97 is about equal to its rival, the F-122 Tigershark II:
