You put something to cook in the microwave. Hit "Cook time", and enter the time. If you put 99, it'll be 99 seconds. If you put 100, it'll be a minute.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

 Since when do you select what time units you are inputting on a microwave? What, you want it to always be seconds?? Fine, go cook something for 45 minutes - in seconds.

*has a dial-timer microwave*

And on some older models you've got to press Minute, then numbers, Seconds, then numbers.

Eh... My microwave's in about seventeen different pieces (threw out the rest), and the antenna's getting a momentary-switch rig, not any wuss timer. So no, 99 is still less than 100.

Oh, and by the way, it's "Jews", not "Hebrews" - not anymore, at least. Back in the days of slavery in Egypt thousands of years ago, sure, but now? Blah. ;)

No, not at all. Perhaps if you had a swastika on your shoulder, but otherwise, well - it all boils down to how you say it, as with anything, I guess.

Stryke, we don't have post-deletion enabled because we enjoy seeing you squirm with the inability of erasing your mistakes. :p

Yeah i understand what you mean now.

I have an ass of a  stupid "friend" (more like associate) who likes to kick soda machines who take his money and call them "dirty jews" ... I'm assuming he got this after he heard our Jewish History/English teacher try to explain the Stereotype association of Jews and Banks..

wow that trailed off real fast.

Here's one:

This can happen quite frequently, as often as, say, once in a minute.  At other times, the rate of occurrence may step up until in a single moment it can happen twice, almost back to back!  And yet, it never happens in the course of a hundred thousand years.
