Exits are to the right and left and flamethrowers are under your seat.  Make sure to keep some food on you at all times - the Shivans are pretty hungry around here.  Better your lunch than you. ;)

Always a pleasure to see new faces here.  Echelon IV, please make yourself at home. :)

Ah yes... we need this too...

Whatever you do, don't go near the airvents and if you see some black, spiney, penatlimbed things near the airvents, RUN LIKE HECK!!
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

:wtf: Who are you talking to?

And the question: it was Apocalypse and Armageddon, I believe. Not sure on the second, though, so I'll wait for confirmation.

Yes for Apocalypse, no for Armageddon.  Hint: Look in the source code. :)

Note: If someone asked the question asked below, don't throw tomatoes at me.

Question:  According to Lt. Snipes, what is his description of taking care of enemy units after activating the fail-safes on the NTF fighters in the second SOC NTF mission?

Not fail-safes...sabotage.  Good question - I don't think it has been asked.  The answer is "sterilizing".

The answer to my question is Beast. :) So I'll ask another...

What are the names of the cruisers in the second FS2 demo mission? ;)

Cruisers only? Then its the GTC Adamant and the SC Armaros.

If you mean the two cruisers and the corvette, its the GTC Adamant, SC Armaros, and the SCv Balam.

Now its my turn ;)

What three things does the Colossus complain about in High Noon (Sathanas vs. Colossus mission)?

Hehehe.... i'm evil :D

It's more than three:

"Heat sinks were not made for this kind of abuse, Command!  We'll ment down our cannons if we push any harder."

"Colossus here.  We have sustained moderate damage.  Hull breach on forward decks 140 through 200.  Damage control report auxiliary systems compromised."

"Command, this is the Colossus.  Hull integrity dropping.  Multiple systems approaching critical.  Casualty rate escalating."

"Colossus here!  Our hull will not sustain another salvo!  We must withdraw immediately, Command!"

"Secondary and tertiary reactors are down!  Fire control is on the verge of redline!  We're giving it all we got!"

Well, just when the questions seem to have died out, I came across a good one
What model has the highest polycount and number of subobjects in Freespace 2?
who needs a signature? ;)
It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

NTF Boadacea. 1741 polies, 1490 verts, and 87 submodels. Nasty.

That's exactly right.  Not as many polies in LOD0 as the colossus, but more in the lower LODs.  And it's got a ship inside and 16 multi-LOD subobjects, so it really pushes the engine to the max.  And it was only used in one mission.

Eh, does it really?  I always assumed that the Iceni effect in that mission was accomplished by simply placing the Boadicea and the Iceni at the same coordinates.  When the Boadicea was destroyed, the Iceni was left.

Kind of like what happens at the end of the ST:Voyager episode "Deadlock", if you've seen it. :)

nope there is a ship inside, all what is outside("the asteroid") is set to be subsystems of this this ship, and some events trigger theire destruction. check from fred2

War is a lion, on whos back you fall, never to get up.
Think big. Invade Space.

Also notice that when the Iceni warps out, the blue 'warp node' is considerably larger than when the Iceni warps out in following missions. That's because size of the warp node is calculated based on the width/height of the model.

Too easy: all are deities created by H.P.Lovecraft in his collection of novels and essays today referred as Cthulhu books.
