opposite here :D just fionished watching FotR Special edition ( I have the one with the two argonath statues :) ) an hour ago, and went to see tTT yesterday night ( well, for the second ime, tho :) )
I gotta say, the special edition is a blessing for those who complains about differences to the book, of course there's still a few things missing, but there's also a lot of stuf ( even the mosquito swamp has a short go :lol: ).

Heh, they forgot a very important thing - the original FotR trailer and teasers. :p

But I dunno...I like FotR more than tTT. :nervous:

Yeah, me too...

I'd like tTT more but those battle scenes were a little dissaponitment. They used too much slow motion and it just wasn't what I hoped. Though the short battle scene from FotR was fantastic. :)

I actually might go see tTT again on tuesday or something. maybe use that free ticket I got a while ago... It wasn't too bad, only it's the big between in the trilogy.

All the action was kinda slow. I didn't get the feeling of a big battle except the beginning, the explosion, Legolas' ride and the moment Aragorn broke out of the castle. I think the battle scenes were ok but camera work was baaad. They should learn something from Ep2 about moving cameras...and of course not to turn on slow motion during the coolest parts...

d00d, Ep2 was a WWII battle, tTT was a battle of Agincourt battle. You cannot use WWII camera movements (such as the documental zooms in Ep2) in a fantasy setting.

Errr, your right...

But then at least they should've used FotR camera movements. Like this camera flying and spinning over the battlefield.
