Nope, never read discworld.
I never said that women didn't degrade men, I merely said that men do the adverse more often. Which is true. I would never think of believing that women were perfect and would never do something like that - I agree with you in that complaining is what the (majority of the) two seperate genders do, and I'm not going to dispute the fact. But at least most women don't go around blatantly toting their opinions - that's a trait of a lot of men.
All of the image is true. Sometimes. Anything is true. Sometimes. But most of the time, a lot of it isn't. That's the case here.

There's a bit of that, granted. But there's also the fact that things like this are usually circulated on the internet, which I would guess has a larger male population that female - for example, the last time I checked Tiara was outnumbered nearly 500 to one please don't smack me Tiara and while HLP does not represent the internet as a whole, well, you see what I mean yesno.

By trait of males, I meant generally. Everywhere, anywhere. Not just in matters like this, but in most stuff that an opinion can be put to. Males will generally try harder to get their opinion noticed. Something to do with gender personality...

And good for you. Although the inbuilt fascination for guns does not bode well for anyone of any sex...

You're really getting a lot of things off your chest today, aren't you? Alright, I'll bet you twenty units of unspecified currency that Tiara, obsessed with guns as she may be, lives her whole life without ever shooting dead another human being. Well, maybe an0n, but that doesn't count.

An obsession for anything at all is bad :p But especially guns, at least in the UK (yes, I know Tiara isn't in the UK, but I'm just saying), because the laws here are being tightened so much I wouldn't be surprised if I got arrested in 10 years time for even looking at a picture of one.

Over the last four years I've collected half a dozen airguns that look like the real thing at arm's length. I've also never been arrested.

Odyssey I`ve just got to ask you, WHAT PLANET ARE YOU LIVING ON!

Seriously women are just as bad as men about denigrating the other sex. If they weren`t they wouldn`t call it the "Battle of the Sexes" cause men would have already won it.

Have you really never heard a women say "Men, they're all bastards" or anything of the sort.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Over the last 4 years, stuff wasn't happening. Honestly, plastic guns have to be painted bright pretty colours now so that they don't look like real guns - so police officers won't give a damn about brightly coloured guns. Oh good say terrorists, terrorists paint their guns pink.

Please read my posts more carefully. I explicitly said that 'I never said that women didn't degrade men'... And what makes you think that just because only one side is fighting means that the side is winning?

EDIT: oh, and yeah, I live on Earth. Howdy.

Now, see, that's not sounds temporal physics. I can think of at least five or six things that happened over the last four years.

Now, about brightly coloured plastic guns...

Wanna guess if it's real or not?

Did I get "obsessed" by guns without anyone telling me? :blah:

Why are people drawing conclusions about a person just by looking at their posts? Kinda impossible :p

Fake.

I don't think the real one has the bright letters on the side.

Something tells me Odyssey's never been the only guy in a car with four women on a three-hour-long road trip. In other words, shut up, junior. Both sides are a sexist as can be, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that so long as they mostly don't bother each other. However, I will note that many women leap at the opportunity to be pretty damn vicious to a guy when they've got strength in numbers and he's too tired to fight back (see reference to long, long road trip).

Though I suspect most guys, at least at my age, hold off mainly because they want to get in said womens' pants. Which is pretty lame, considering that last I checked nobody I know lives in a porn movie, and women don't routinely hand out sexual favors for not being insulted.

EDIT: Tiara? You're not obsessed by guns? Why the hell not?

Diamondgeezer, is that one made recently (i.e. since a few months ago) in the UK?
And Stryke, thanks for being an excellent example of what I was saying about opinionism. Thankyou for giving a reasonable argument, and I'll accept that under certain circumstances **** happens. But there was no need to judge me by age, or indeed tell me to shut up.

Judge you by age?

Gotta love the Internet. Thousands of people, billions of pages of text, minimal rhetorical literacy.

By the way, love the new title. Whose job was that 'un?
