Or liver.  How many other named organs would people eat?  A fresh piece of lung perhaps?  Or a nice slice of roast womb?

Eggs are dodgy when you think about it, too..... eating an embryo.

Hey, my mother-in-law fed her children scrambled calf brains as a child.  Brits evidently routinely eat kidneys. People here eat cow stomachs. In japan I had ramen with cow intestines.
