the pc version can be identical to the xbox version if you buy an xbox controller and an xbox2usb adaptor... be advised: if you do, it calls reloading, picking up weapons, and the action button by three names, but if you bind X to the 'action' button, it does all 3, but if you bind it to the others, like reload, thats ALL it will do... the ONLY flaw is that Hpc doesn't support the xbox controller vibration, though it is detected by the computer...

Don't even bother shooting at the infection forms if you have your shields as they barely even touch them, avoid them at all costs if your sans shields however because they stick to you and drain health at a stupidly fast rate.
What frequency are you getting? Is it noise or sweet sweet music? - Refused - Liberation Frequency.

I really dont see whats so hard about this level.  Of course, this coming from the person that beat the truth and reconcilliation on that one load of sniper shells and pistol rounds...

Wait until you get to the last level this will be absolutly nothing compared to that final battle.

The final battle wasn't that hard. Personally, I thought the Library was the hardest level.

Almost the main reason why I'd go for Halo PC rather than Halo Xbox is so that I can use a mouse... :nervous:

Anyway, I got the demo, and it runs at 10fps with all the details off. :p Methinks I'll be upgrading soon though, it's damn fun to play in all its chunkiness. :D

We're talking about the library... On anthing other then easy, you are guarenteed to die several times before you get it right... A friend and I did it on 2 player, on ledgendary, and it took us half an hour JUST at the end...

I know you're talking about the library. Someone was saying that the last battle* was harder than the library but I disagreed.
* Spoiler:I'm assuming he meant the fight in Pillar of Autumn's engine room.

I think he was referring to the library... although The Maw is prety hard on ledgendary... My friend and i did that yesterday, and he was driving, and i accidentally shot a carrier in front of us, and nearly killed us both... neither of us died more then once in during it though...

that driving part at the end was one of my favorite parts of the whole game. It reminded me of Metal Gear Solid, except this time I was driving instead of shooting, plus I was alone.

yeah, 2player is interesting, since you can race, or gun, and you can get interesting views, especially if you sit in the side seat...

word for the wise... while the sniper rifle is fun, it's pratically useless against the flood;)

best weapon combo, Shotgun + Rocketlauncher....:drevil:

the RL is ok during Keyes, with those hunters and carriers bumbling around, but the shotgun and assault rifle/pistol are most effective... with the flood, one has a tendancy to go full auto with the assault rifle, its exremly innacurate, and it'll run you out of ammo... fire like the marines, a few quick shots on target, then release the trigger while swiching targets...

in the Maw, the RL is invaluable in the later half, the splash damage does a helluva lot of damage to flood, and sends them flying...

for fun, blow both a Flood's arms off, and let it walk to you... it can't attack y'see..;)

well yeah, the maw it defineately is, except that the sentenels can draw your aim while shooting the shafts... in keyes, at the beginning, there are armless flood... they take a beating when you try and hit them with your gun...

Assault rifle and plasma rifle is my preferred combination. I use the plasma rifle on the Covenant and the assault rifle on the Flood and if no enemies drop any plasma rifles I use a plasma pistol instead. btw, does the Flood remind anyone of headcrabs from Half-Life.
