I downloaded the demo and WOAH it has Multi player too. So who wants to get owned? ;7 :drevil:

All Razor is asking is who wants a multiplayer game, that's all, if you think you can beat him then why not simply accept his challenge and find out? I would, but I don't have the demo :D

Peculiar problem...

Upon startup, I'm greeted with a "Cannot initialize DirectX, you may not have hardware acceleration turned on, yadda yadda..." message.  I.E.  I can't play the game.

And before someone slaps me with the "go get new drivers" and "patch it" responses, I've already done so.  And since Bungie's support page is completely devoid of any tech help for the PC version outside of the most simplistic problems...

Anyone heard of something like this happening?  Or have an idea on how to fix it?

EDIT:  Okay, so I'm an ignorant sod for not looking hard enough. :p  Problem's traced to Reforce.  Disabled it and it's workin' like a charm.

I got the demo from FP. Hang out for a time when their servers are empty... heh, living on the other side of the world does have some perks. ;)

FilePlanet's pretty reliable. I downloaded many demos from them already. That's how I know which games are worth buying.

Back to Halo. I'm back on the Covenent cruiser after disabling the three generators. Once again, stupid Captain Heyes is captured and I have to rescue him again. Can anybody give me some tips for that stage?
