What is your CPU Temp?

Currently 46C here.

omg, what kind of hot CPUs do you use?

and @ venom: funny that you overclock your processor to run slower :p de-syncing your FSB in that horrible way :nervous:
In any way, overclocking sucks.

38 °C here.

run slower? explain it please

i overclocked via my Asus Mobo and i only could overclock all parameters....at least i think so:wtf:

once i set the FSB up to 140 (560) and my CPU runs nearly 3300 MHz....but i dont wanna overclock it to much:(

well, you see... my FSB runs at 800 MHz (200 MHz quad pumped), my memory (dual channeled) also runs at 800 MHz. If I would overclock my FSB to 866 MHz or something, the RAM would not be synchronized with my FSB anymore... which would result in an enourmous perfomance drain :)

And as there clearly is no RAM speed matching your '548 MHz FSB' you will probably be quite a bit slower than an ordinary but synched 533 MHz system.

well, that sound correct to me

but i dont see any performance decreases?

maybe your system never was synched at all?

that explains it. 2x 266MHz dual channeled would work better.

why should i use slower RAM?

i'm using 2x 333Mhz @ 512MB DDR RAM in the "Dual Channel" Mode or how its called

and how i can "sync" my System?

synchronising things tends to make them faster :)
especially when it comes to moving around lots of data really fast

a synched system will have same FSB and RAM speeds. In my case this is 800 MHz FSB as well as RAM speed.

In your case it would mean 533 MHz FSB and RAM speed. You can only get to 533 MHz RAM speed by dual channeling two 266 MHz ram sticks.
The 533-MHz FSB series of the p4 simply isn't made for ultra high memory access performance :blah:
