Setekh playing guitar! :D (self-extracting RAR, hosting courtesy an0n - cheers mate)

Took this video on the precious (my Sony DSC-V1). ;) I started finger-picking a little while ago, had a few chances to practice. This particular piece is the intro to a church song which I translated from piano into guitar. Mad fun to play. ;)

If anyone wants a clip of me playing some rhythm parts, I can put one up, but they're not as fun to watch. ;)

do you take lessons, or do you figure it all out yourself?

Uhhh... I hate to say it, esp. before seeing the vid myself, but you may want to host that file somewhere else... GS frowns on non-relevant content on their servers.

Edit: Actually that's not entirely true - I lost it because I hosted a Desert Combat beta release that was due to be released on File Planet two days later. I was doing that so that I could transfer it from the friend who gave it to me - to my own computer - thus avoiding the arduous ques of File Planet.

They caught me doing it, and kicked me. They were right I suppose, though I'd have thought they might be nice enough to just ask me to delete it - which I would have done of course.

Still, what's done is done. Curiously I've not really missed my lack of FTP access since - so it can't have been that important.

Y'see, I tried that, but me fingers are fecked up from a childhood of playing in goals, so i could never play chords using more than 3 fingers :(

which is a nnoying, as I actually have 2 of the damn things in the cupboard (one's strung left-handed, the other has the high e-missing and is right handed)

I've been playing guitar for nearly 15 years now, and I still can't solo. Just one of natures Rhythm guitarists I guess :)

I might even do a quick MP3 now if I can be bothered to boot soundforge :D

hmm, only playing half a year here, but getting better at the solos, be it slowly. Best at riffs and rhythm i guess.
