That depends on your definiton of the word. The way I see it, all humans need faith and have faith. No necessarily in God or anything, but everyone has faith in certain things.

faith in the religious sense - "faith in someone" can be based off rationality

but faith as used in the religious sense means "belief not based upon evidence or rationality"
