Re: A celebration of Freespace
Hey, with that tweaking, you should make one of those colossi have 100 front side 1m apart infyrno turrets. And make it go up against some ships.
Every pilot's goal is to rise up in the ranks and go beyond their purpose to a place of command on a very big ship. Like the colossus; to baseball bat everyone.

Hah, you haven't seen the Fenris.

Somehow it seems like you mean The Fenris and not a regular run-of-the-mill Fenris.

Meh, wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
The argument could be made that there's no way for us to tell there's a Fenris in that blob.  Maybe you should go in for a closer look....  :P

Mr. Maniac, you are a maniac!! :eek2:

And Snail, your Fenris wouldn't stand a chance against the Hermes, if i tweaked it. All of these arguments are pointless except to show cool and obscenely graphics intensive scenes. :D

Don't stop though, some of these piccys were cool. ;)

I'm new to these forums and i've just gone through this entire thread from the start and I have a few questions:

1. Are the Star Wars models available in a pack or mod?

2. Are the Star Trek models available in a pack or mod?

3. Any news on when FreeSpace 3 might be com- *ripped apart by admin beam cannon*

The glow!!!! The wonderful glow!!!! Can you not see it, Alpha 1?!?!?!

Nice to kill yourself ahead of the flak. =p

I'd slap up the welcome to hlpp boards thing, since no once did it for me, but I don't have it. -shrugs- Wait for one of the regulars to come along and do it. In the meantime, welcome to HLP boards.

You do the welcome beam by typing <colon>welcome<colon>.
Like so:

:welcome:
"You need to believe in things that aren't true. How else can they become?" -DEATH, Discworld

"You can fight like a krogan, run like a leopard, but you'll never be better than Commander Shepard!"

Re: A celebration of Freespace
1. Are the Star Wars models available in a pack or mod?

Nope. They are either part of MetalDestroyer's private mod (Which will never be released since he lacks the permission of the original modeller) or they are part of the Star Wars mods (We have 2 and neither have released anything yet)

2. Are the Star Trek models available in a pack or mod?

Yes. But I have absolutely no idea where you can get the most recent version from.

If you're not sure of something like that, and you want to test, hit the "Preview" button.  :D  (not that you did something wrong, just informing you :) )

Re: A celebration of Freespace
Should use ImageShack.  ;)  Then you can upload all ur stuff you want to be available to everyone onto it.  Also, Y! Mail has unlimited storage space (in 10MB chunks), you can use it to email stuff to yourself as attachments... Gmail has storage capability of 2. something gigs.. Hotmail has 2 Gigs, and I think AOL Mail has 2 Gigs... if not, then it's 1 Gig.  Plus, there's in.solit.us, unlimited free storage, and only stuff you mark as public is available for download.  *shrugs* lotsa options, if you want to use any of those.  If any of that is useful, then great, if not, then disregard.  :)
