Stumbled across this.... it's a chatbot (for lack of a better term, i.e. an AI program ala Elize that attempts to communicate in a human-esque way).

Not going to win the Turing prize, but it's actually pretty convincing.  still easy to catch out via misspellings or common phrases, though.

ALICE: Reductionism.

Trick is to test it's 'memory' - it's really weak at thinking 3/4 lines back and putting stuff in context.

I tried catching it in a logical paradox ("Everything I tell you from this point on is a lie." and "I am lying to you") but it seems to have gone over the AIs head. Too bad, worked so well in that short story.....
