Well. That's partly true. Wait until you'll have to install and configure a 100+ worsktation intranet. You'll go MS, anyway. Better support, better software compatibility, better User-Friendliness (admit it, anyway you see it, every Linux distro can become REALLY FRUSTRATING, if you have no idea where to look for info and help). That goes with a price, of course. If you're a paying customer, you'd get far. Otherwise, just shut up

n.b.: yes, i do use a *NIX Os. FreeBSD but i go MS for every kind of Software development. It's just a mattter of keeping Cross-Compatibility and not using any OS specific libraries. In better term GOOD DESIGN. (which i'm proud of).
n.b.: all this unless you have geeks under your who like to work for free 24/7. OpenSource is good until you start living on the software you produce.
